Key Account Sales professionals
to join Oracle's Cloud Technology Sales team in China. This role focuses on driving adoption of
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
across
IaaS and PaaS
, with a strong emphasis on
Cloud Native / Non-Oracle workloads
. The primary responsibility is to serve
mid-market and large-scale customers in the digital-native and internet sectors
(e-commerce, gaming, social, entertainment, fintech, Web3, etc.), particularly enterprises with overseas expansion needs.
As a trusted
Account Owner
, you will manage end-to-end customer engagement — from identifying opportunities to closing deals and ensuring successful cloud adoption — while working closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth
by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - Own account relationships
with CIOs, CTOs, and business unit leaders at mid-market and enterprise-level customers. - Develop and execute account strategies
to expand OCI footprint, consumption, and renewals. - Lead customer engagements
that highlight OCI's strengths in compute, networking, storage, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), database services (Autonomous DB, Exadata), analytics, and AI/ML platforms. - Collaborate cross-functionally
with pre-sales and solution architects to design value-based proposals and demonstrations. - Ensure post-sale success
by aligning with customer success managers to maximize consumption and optimize workloads. - Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline management
using Oracle's CRM systems. - Work in a
fast-paced, high-intensity environment
, with customer engagements often scheduled during evenings or weekends.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 7+ years
of enterprise IT or cloud solution sales experience, with a proven track record in
IaaS/PaaS sales
. - Direct experience as a
Key Account Sales / Account Owner
, independently managing mid-market or enterprise customers. - Strong industry exposure to
digital-native sectors
such as e-commerce, gaming, social, entertainment, live streaming, tools, or content platforms. - Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales quotas in complex, high-value deals.
- Fluent in both
English and Mandarin
, with strong presentation and communication skills to engage senior stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience supporting
Chinese enterprises expanding overseas
. - Knowledge of
cloud-native technologies
, DevOps (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AI/ML frameworks. - Familiarity with Oracle technologies as well as competitive platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and navigate cross-region opportunities.
