About Our Team
The journal management team is a professional team that manage a portfolio of academic journals.

About The Role
Act as a single point of contact for all aspects of the end-to-end journal publication process. Both for internal departments and external contacts, professionally representing Elsevier at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line support to Editors, Authors and Publishers with queries on articles in the editorial and production process.
  • Monitoring journal performance through the entire end-to-end process of publication.
  • Ensuring timely delivery against scheduled publication dates and other business targets.
  • Ensuring maximum speed and efficiency in the end-to-end process.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of publishing experience
  • Experience excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly.
  • Demonstrate effective organization skills are essential including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously; ability to prioritise; decisiveness; cost awareness, and problem solving.
