Business Analyst & Scrum Master
Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, business-oriented Power Platform Business Analyst and Scrum Master to join our team. You will act as a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team. Your primary responsibility will be to understand business needs, analyze and design processes, project milestone management, project risk management, and leverage the Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio) to build effective solutions that drive our digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Requirements Analysis & Project Timeline Management: · Collaborate with business units to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements through interviews, workshops, and shadowing. · Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications and technical solution designs. · Analyze and optimize business processes, identify automation opportunities, and propose innovative solutions using the Power Platform. · Create process flowcharts, wireframes, and prototypes to facilitate a shared understanding between business and technical teams. · Management project milestones and risk, and make sure deliver on time.
Power Platform Solution Delivery: · Lead or actively participate in the end-to-end project lifecycle for Power Platform initiatives, from planning and design to development, testing, deployment, and support. · Hands-on configuration and customization of Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate (cloud flows), and basic Power BI reports. · Collaborate with Power Platform developers, administrators, and architects to ensure solution feasibility and adherence to best practices. · Manage solution testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
Data Modelling & Management: · Analyze data requirements and design efficient data models. Advise on data source selection and integration (e.g., Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server). · Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance within solutions.
User Training & Continuous Support: · Develop and deliver training to end-users and create clear user documentation. · Provide post-launch support, gather user feedback, and plan for continuous improvement and iterative enhancements.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: · Serve as the primary communication channel between business stakeholders and the IT technical team. · Regularly report on project progress, risks, and outcomes to project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience Essential Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year focused on Microsoft Power Platform projects. · Proven hands-on experience with core Power Platform components: · Power Apps: Ability to build both canvas and model-driven apps. · Power Automate: Proficiency in creating automated cloud flows.
· Power BI: Skills in developing basic to intermediate interactive reports and dashboards. · Excellent business process modeling and analysis skills, with proficiency in tools like UML/BPMN. · Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. · Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Microsoft Power Platform certifications
· Hands-on experience with Dataverse data model design and security management.
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. · Industry-specific experience (e.g., Manufacturing, Finance, Healthcare, Retail).
