As an Executive Recruiter with our Global Executive Talent Acquisition team, you will lead the strategy to identify top talent for executive level recruiting needs for Goodyear's Asia Pacific region. This key role encompasses the end-to-end recruiting process in collaboration with Goodyear's senior leaders to drive top talent to our organization while delivering an exceptional internal and external hiring experience. This role covers all regions of Asia Pacific and while hybrid, requires in-office presence as needed at Goodyear's office in Shanghai for in-person collaboration.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead senior/executive level end-to-end recruiting process including but not limited to:
  • Build a comprehensive search strategy in collaboration with our Global Executive Sourcing Specialist
  • Provide frequent and timely communication to stakeholders on the recruiting progress
  • Interview and recommend robust candidate slates
  • Facilitate the interview process with support from our HR Coordinators
  • Recommend compensation and facilitate the offer process with Total Rewards
  • Follow system, process and compliance requirements

  • Be passionate about our business, mission and values to provide outstanding thought partnership to clients that will shape the recruiting strategy

  • Build strong relationships and influence senior business leaders and HR leaders through data analysis and talent/market insights
  • Build trust and maintain relationships with external talent to understand their requirements and concerns and match them to fulfilling professional roles
  • Collaborate with the Executive recruiting team to continually improve the sourcing, and recruiting of executive candidates
  • Engage with the Global Talent Acquisition team, build relationships across the organization to leverage learnings, share best practices, and scale ideas through collaboration

Critical Experiences and Capabilities required:

  • 7+ years of progressive growth in a recruiting role with at least 3 years of experience dedicated to executive-level recruiting within an external search firm, and/or a corporate recruiting function with a large, complex, matrixed, and global business environment
  • Strong grasp of executive search processes (market mapping, longlist/shortlist development, candidate assessment, offer negotiation)
  • Candidate assessment skills: Mastery in evaluating leadership competencies, executive presence, strategic thinking, and cultural fit
  • Business acumen; Experience gaining a deep understanding of a company's business model, industry, and competitive landscape
  • Ability to influence/partner with senior executives and collaborate effectively within the team across a wide variety of levels, functions, and geographies.
  • Highly credible, demonstrated experiences in operating with ambiguity, and can maintain the highest level of discretion
  • Ability to work independently and develop executive recruiting strategies for the identification, assessment, and selection of top talent under tight timelines
  • Experience in building and cultivating relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders in a global business
  • Superior attention to detail and project management skills demonstrated through experience in a high-performance environment where multiple projects and competing demands are the norms
  • Excellent communication skills showed through the clear, structured, and concise written and verbal presentation
  • Agile and able demonstrate the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, make quick decisions and work with highly confidential information
  • A bachelor's degree is required and an advanced degree preferred
  • Experience running searches across multiple geographies is preferred
  • This role is part of a global Executive Recruiting team and will require participation on calls/meetings that are outside of the APAC business hours (estimate 1/week).
