Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operational management of the companies' chartered vessels, coordinating with carriers, merchants, agents, suppliers, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth and efficient vessel operations. Work closely with other departments and stakeholders through frequent communication to ensure client/contractual needs and expectations are communicated to achieve positive results
- Oversee the implementation of charter party / booking notes / fixture notes after signing, coordinate with merchants to ensure smooth voyage execution, and independently resolve potential disputes or issues during the voyages.
- Support the development of business relations with unknown ship owners & operators of all types and nationalities
- Complete other tasks assigned by leadership
- Support worldwide deugro offices to develop sales leads where available
- Responsible for reviewing, verifying, and archiving shipping documents related to the fixtures
- Travel to participate in shipping events like Break Bulk Conferences or others as well as joining client meetings if/when required
Skills, knowledge, and expertise:
- English Advanced or Fluent
- Knowledge of MPP heavy lift or breakbulk market
- 1~2 years experience in MPP Heavylift or breakbulk shipping sector
- Understanding of company strategy and products
- Understanding of company rules and guidelines
- Self-starter and team player
- Strong organizational skills (prioritize, plan, control) and attention to detail are essential
- Customer focused, results oriented and performance driven.
- Passion of network and relationship building.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Detail oriented with project management and analytical skills.
