This position is a principal therapeutic expert who provides scientific expertise to the content team and to support client needs assessment. The position would serve as a primary quality control and contact for internal teams and external clients, Key Opinion Leaders and other internal team members. The position would work on multiple programs. Job Description:
- Drives high client satisfaction for all milestone deliveries vis-à-vis quality and accuracy of delivery, timeliness, and efforts.
- Manages budgets - project expenses, CRF etc; manages project profitability (budget vs actual); and team utilization
- Manage customer expectations - response time and attitude. Anticipate client side bottlenecks in plan execution and propose solutions to clients or production teams in advance through effective communication
- Contribute to top-line through presales and working closely with the sales team, on the assigned account(s) - Provides sales support to the sales team in terms of writing proposals, providing time-effort estimates and creating samples/ demos/ prototypes
- Responsible for scientific direction of client programs to ensure medical communication is accurate, clinically relevant and reflect the most recent medical advances
- Consult with experts, KOL's and provide information and expert resources as needed.
- Write medical documents, review and edit including but not limited to manuscripts, white paper, monographs, slide kits and training modules.
- Playing significant role in building capabilities and processes, and developing people in the team to execute on these plans.
- Driving execution while adhering to systems and processes – (operational and legal) laid down by the company and division.
- Contributing at company level - company annual plans, strategic plans, and business and process development Desired Profile:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a professional environment, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other clinical setting
- Master Degree or above preferable in clinical medicine or pharmacology.
- Strong overall understanding of medical science with expertise in one or more specific areas
- Strong English proficiency.
- Expertise in pharma industry (acquainted with review, submission and approval processes).
- Medical/technical writing experience preferred. Excellent writing skills, a keen attention to detail, and strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required.
