Position Recommended Qualifications, Experience & Skills;
- Minimum of 10 years of oil & gas experience of which 7 years must be related to upstream offshore sector. Project and operational experience in a similar role with an Oil and gas Operator an advantage.
 - ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or CWI/SCWI, NACE or FROSIO Level II or III, ASNT or ISO 9712, IWE is a plus.
 - Extensive experience in implementation of Project QA/QC philosophies, strategies and procedures from Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication through to Hook Up and Commissioning.
 - Experience with an international operator of major offshore development projects, ideally topsides and subsea experience.
 - Strong knowledge of materials (carbon steel, stainless, duplex, Inconel), welding, NDE, and coating.
 - Familiar with industry standards and codes (i.e. ISO, API, ASTM, ASME, DNV, NORSOK and etc.).
 - Proficient in reading technical specifications, drawings, and inspection plans.
 - Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
 - Rich working experiences with international Contractor, Subcontractor and Vendors.
 - A good command of English, both verbal and written.

Role and
Responsibilities
- Attend to quality plans and issues pertain to engineering design, fabrication, offshore installation, brownfield construction, hook-up and commission of offshore and onshore facilities including offshore and subsea structures, pipelines, control umbilicals, etc. to ensure they meet the standards consistent with the Quality Management Systems and Quality Plans.
 - Supports the Project QA/QC Lead to review, audit, investigate and mitigate quality issues, deficiencies and non-conformances.
 - Review and check the inspection and test reports to ensure proper and adequate attentions have been provided on all quality matters. Liaise with the document controller to file all quality records, reports and documentation.
 - Review and approve vendor and supplier quality documentation (QAP/ITP, material certificates, welding procedures, NDE reports, etc.).
 - Oversees the qualification of the QC procedures (welding procedure specifications, NDE procedures, painting/coating procedures, equipment calibration procedures, etc.) to ensure the procedures are adequate and adherence to these procedures will result in meeting the quality standards required.
 - Ensure purchased items conform to project specifications, international standards (API, ASTM, ISO), and client requirements.
 - Monitor and perform inspection activities at supplier premises (in-process and final inspection) and Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) when required.
 - Ensure vendor qualification and pre-qualification per company procedures.
 - Participate in technical bid evaluations (TBE) focusing on quality and compliance requirements.
 - Ensure correct technical documentation is submitted with material/equipment deliveries.
 - Maintain QA/QC records and ensure full documentation (EN , MTRs, test reports).
 - Compile vendor data books and Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs).
 - Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
 - Support material traceability and positive material identification (PMI) as needed.
 - Continuously assess the performance of the contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure their continuous quality improvement programs are being implemented in the areas lacking
 - Overall implementation of the Quality Control functions/ activities of the projects to ensure the work performed and the end products meet the quality and standards as specified in the contracts.
 - Participates in quality audits and assessment pertain to the implementation of the Project Quality Plans and programs
 - Assist in reviews, audits and checks of in-house and contractors quality assurance and quality control procedures, programs, inspection & test plans, inspection and audits reports to ensure findings, deficiencies and non-conformances are immediately attended to and rectified.
