Job Description
Financial planning, reporting and cost analysis:
- Partner with production/operations teams to drive cost optimization and profitability.
- Develop regular pacing rhythms within all key stakeholders to ensure proper communication of key performance indicator of the company's metrics.
- Lead all budget and operating plans preparation, coordinate cross-team discussions, and make resource allocation decisions based on production needs.
- Analyze key operational KPI trends (current/past) to drive cost savings and improve cash flow.
- Oversee fixed assets investment, conduct investment return analysis, and ensure alignment with budget and business strategy.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze inventory turnover trends, and drive inventory optimization.
- Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks to meet closing/reporting deadlines.
Data Integrity, US GAAP, Local Statutory And Tax Compliance
- Drive data integrity to ensure accurate and complete set of data as basis for all reporting needs.
- Lead month-end closing, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure timely, accurate completion with high efficiency.
- Maintain and/or review accounts reconciliation as per GEV criteria. Lead in balance sheet deep dive and accounts aging reviews.
- Drive controllership awareness and process improvements to operations teams and ensures finance and accounting compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GEV/local regulatory requirements for tax, treasury and statutory reporting purposes.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing/completion of all regulatory documents, internal/external audit and tax assessments.
Simplification And Process Improvements
- Leverage lean methodologies to identify and lead process improvements, reducing manual work.
- Support GEV finance standardization and digitalization initiatives with practical input, and optimize local processes to ensure no interruptions and compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements
- MBA or similar degree preferred.
- 5+ years accounting/audit, plus 3+ years each in manufacturing finance and leadership.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with SAP is a plus..
- Proven experience in cross-team coordination, team leadership, and independent decision-making.
