About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to play a pivotal role in two critical strategic initiatives. This individual will support initial stages of China 【Client Name Short for "M"】Data Platform (C-MDP) establishment, and meanwhile co-work with business team to initiate analytics framework for our Marketing Loyalty programs with the support from Data Team leader. This is a high-impact role requiring a unique blend of deep technical expertise in data engineering and strategic thinking in business analytics. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can operate autonomously in a fast paced environment, translating business needs into technical solutions and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • C-MDP Data Engineering & MarTech Support

* Provide dedicated data engineering expertise for MarTech Proof of Concept (POC) /Proof of Technology (POT) initiatives, ensuring successful validation and implementation.

* Collaborate with technology teams (in China and US) and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

* Contribute to the design and development of the China 【Client Name Short For "M"】 Data Platform (C-MDP) in its initial phases.

  • Marketing Loyalty Analytics Framework Development

* Partner with the Marketing Loyalty team to understand business objectives,customer lifecycle, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

* Design and implement a future-proof Business Analytics Framework to optimizeloyalty program effectiveness.

* Establish a single source of truth pipeline for loyalty & marketing data, enabling self service analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data engineering roles.

* Proven Expertise: Demonstrable experience in both building data infrastructure (data pipelines, warehousing) and applying advanced analytics to solve complex business problems, preferably in Marketing, Loyalty, or Hospitality.

* Technical Proficiency:

o Advanced SQL is mandatory.

o Strong programming skills in Python or PySpark for data processing and

analysis.

o Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Ailcloud) and big data

technologies (e.g., Data works, maxcompute, hologres, Snowflake).

o Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or quick BI.

* Strategic Mindset: Exceptional logical and structural thinking, with the ability to see the big picture and design scalable, long-term solutions rather than just tactical fixes.

* Project Ownership: A self-starter who can drive projects forward with minimal supervision, from conceptualization to delivery. Must be highly proactive and results-oriented.

* Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. Must be fluent in English, with the ability to articulate complex

technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and persuasively. Ideal Candidate Profile
