Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and optimization of precision assembly processes for chucks.
- Tackle root-cause engineering challenges by building predictive models that map process parameters to quality outcomes.
- Utilize advanced data analytics, Design of Experiments (DOE), and machine learning algorithms to dynamically optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Pioneer advanced in-process metrology to enable early-stage quality prediction, shifting quality gates upstream and significantly boosting final yield.
- Lead the integration of smart manufacturing solutions, including in-line optical inspection, IoT sensors, and data analytics platforms, to create a fully traceable and adaptive production system.
- Architect modular and flexible assembly solutions that enable rapid line changeovers and support high-mix product manufacturing.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Act as a technical leader, staying ahead of industry trends and evaluating emerging technologies.
- Develop and protect proprietary manufacturing processes and intellectual property that create a sustainable competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the ALO electrostatic chuck assembly process and manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of chuck assembly fundamentals, including ceramic/polymer material properties, precision mechanical design, and functional performance.
- Proven experience in a production environment, with exposure to industry-leading technologies or prior work experience in top-tier companies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process modeling, data-driven optimization, and automation integration.
