About the Role
The Business Development Senior Director will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of the company's display product strategy across the China and Asia markets. Based in Shanghai (or Wuhan), this individual will lead strategic engagement with key OEMs and display ecosystem partners to drive growth, secure new business wins, and develop next-generation display solutions. The role requires a combination of commercial acumen, technical understanding of display systems, and deep market insight.
What My Client is Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in business development, product marketing, or technical sales within the automotive display or electronics sector
- Strong understanding of automotive-grade display technologies (LCD, OLED, MicroLED, touch modules, driver ICs, cover glass, etc.)
- Proven experience working with Tier 2 display suppliers or display system integrators
- Track record of engaging with OEMs and managing RFI/RFQ processes and PoC initiatives
- Ability to bridge technical and commercial teams to deliver value-driven display solutions
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; comfortable working in a global and cross-cultural environment
- Prior experience with companies such as Desay SV, BYD Auto, Hangsheng Electronics, Foryou Group, LG Electronics, BICV, Panasonic, Hiway, Innolux, or FULSCIENCE would be highly valued
- Ethnically Chinese candidates are preferred due to market and language alignment
