PCCC is currently executing the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project (216 MW) in Mailung, Rasuwa. We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented professional to join our project team.
Position Overview
The
Hydropower Project Insurance Documentation Management Specialist
will oversee the end-to-end management, verification, and coordination of all insurance-related documentation for the project. This role is critical in ensuring full compliance, timely documentation submission, effective communication with insurers, and smooth handling of insurance claims.
A key part of this role includes independently compiling
flood-damage insurance claim documents
and guiding field teams on data collection for July-related incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Insurance Documentation Management
- Collect, verify, and systematically organize all project insurance documents.
- Develop and maintain standardized filing systems (both digital and physical).
- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner.
- Cross-Department Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering, contracts, commercial, finance, and site departments to obtain required documentation.
- Follow up regularly to ensure timely submission of supporting files.
- Liaison with Insurance & Consulting Firms
- Assist in communication with the insurance company and external consultant(s).
- Prepare and submit required documentation during insurance claim settlement processes.
- Track claim progress and maintain communication logs.
- Flood-Damage Insurance Documentation (July Issues)
- Independently compile detailed insurance claim files related to flood and water damage incidents.
- Guide on-site personnel in accurate data collection (photos, reports, measurements, logs).
- Ensure all documentation meets insurer requirements for claim assessment.
- Prepare damage summaries, evidence lists, loss assessment reports, and incident records.
- Reporting & Quality Control
- Prepare periodic documentation status reports, claim tracking reports, and summary sheets.
- Ensure that documentation is aligned with project, insurer, and consultant standards.
- Flag discrepancies or missing information for timely correction.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong).
- Proven experience in document management, filing systems, and report preparation.
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in digital documentation.
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken); Chinese language is an added advantage.
- Highly meticulous, patient, responsible, and detail-focused.
- Strong teamwork, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Prior experience in project insurance documentation, engineering insurance, or contract/administration roles is strongly preferred.
- Experience in flood-damage or disaster-related insurance documentation will be considered a major advantage.
