  • Meet and exceed sales targets.Sell company product (New and existing)
  • Allocate time and call frequency based on territory accounts targeting
  • Make the appropriate number of calls on prospects versus customers
  • Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts.
  • Increase market share by calling on key accounts to promote Unifrax products, communicate special programs, present marketing/advertising programs and new products, prepare and conduct training and educational seminars, collect competitive information, handle and resolve problems and complaints, and collect overdue receivables
  • Utilize Knowledge Based Sales Model to develop trust by becoming the knowledge source for your customers
  • Maximize percent of time in front of customers
  • Update customer profile and complete call report
  • Prepare written presentations, reports and price quotations
  • Continually learn new product knowledge and acquire improved selling skills
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows
  • Utilize customer service reps for follow-up and Maintain customer relationship
  • Communicate competitive information to marketing group
  • Complete and submit credit applications for new accounts
  • Work with, develop positive relationships with, communicate with, and coordinate activities with employees in other functional areas
  • Assists sales manager in other work areas Qualification
  • Bachelor degree in an engineering
  • Discipline demonstrated sales experience success selling ideas and/or products to both internal and external customers; industrial market sales experience preferred.
  • Other backgrounds may include product development, product or marketing management, application engineering, project or program management. background in RCF or emission control devices preferred.
  • An understanding of pricing and ordering structures; product, technical and application data; competitive products and applications; blueprint reading; and industrial product knowledge is required.
  • Knowledge of industrial markets, i.e., ceramic fiber and other processes and markets we serve is desirable for future growth within organization.
  • PC literacy, including Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English writing skill and basic verbal communication skill.
