Responsibilities:
- Lead client coverage and relationship management for a portfolio of large corporate clients, including SOEs and leading players in the oil & gas, commodities, mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
- Originate new business opportunities across financing, transaction banking, risk management, and advisory products.
- Develop strategic account plans, ensuring strong pipeline management and revenue delivery.
- Coordinate with internal product partners (Global Markets, Investment Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury, etc.) to deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and provide sector insights to senior management and clients.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal risk, credit, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and support junior team members in client development and execution.
Requirements:
- 8–15 years of experience in corporate banking, coverage, or investment banking, with proven exposure to energy, commodities, mining, infrastructure, or SOE sectors.
- Strong track record in originating and managing complex client relationships at senior levels (CFO/CEO/treasury).
- Solid understanding of credit risk, capital markets, and structured financing solutions.
- Ability to navigate and influence within large organizations and across multiple geographies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or other advanced qualifications preferred.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin or another Asian language is a plus.
