该职位来源于猎聘 Job Summary Linamar is seeking a talented and driven Technical Sales Manager to join our automotive team. This role is a critical technical-commercial interface between automotive customers and Linamar's manufacturing division. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring target customer business and driving optimal product solutions, with a strong focus on die casting components used in chassis, suspension, engine, and driveline systems.
Key Responsibilities (1) Sales
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 customers, leveraging deep understanding of their systems and procurement processes.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate RFQs, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver competitive and technically sound proposals.
- Lead pricing strategy and negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with Linamar's financial goals.
- Manage the full lifecycle of customer Purchase Orders, including initiation, tracking, issue resolution, and payment collection.
- Drive commercial recovery efforts for designated customers and programs, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategy and product positioning, especially in the die casting segment. (2) Technical Solutions
- Lead technical discussions with customers and internal engineering teams to develop manufacturable and cost-effective die casting part designs.
- Facilitate design reviews and secure customer consensus on part proposals, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, and manufacturability goals.
- Evaluate tooling requirements, part specifications, and functional performance, providing expert guidance throughout the product development cycle.
- Support APQP and PPAP processes, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
- Conduct technical reviews of existing die casting products to identify opportunities for improvement or cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess ROI and feasibility of new die casting solutions.
- Stay current with advancements in die casting technologies and materials to enhance Linamar's product offerings. Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Experience
- 5+ years in automotive sales with proven expertise in chassis, suspension, engine, or driveline components.
- Strong background in die casting processes and product applications within the automotive industry.
- Experience managing OEM projects through full lifecycle stages. Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning and project management abilities.
- Deep understanding of die casting processes, tooling, and product performance.
- Financial acumen and ability to assess capital investment and ROI.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Skilled in interpreting customer drawings using GD&T and reviewing technical specifications.
