The Principal Engineer will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define architectural standards, ensure platform scalability and security, and guide the adoption of emerging technologies to meet the company's long-term business objectives.

- Establish and maintain the overall technical architecturefor the company's SaaS platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security in a multi-tenant cloud environment.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and AI/ML teams to align business objectives with technical strategy and deliver innovative product capabilities.
- Lead architectural reviews, set engineering standards, and provide direction on system design and integration across multiple teams.
- Evaluate, recommend, and oversee the adoption of AI/ML frameworks and technologiesthat align with business and technical goals.
- Provide technical mentorship to senior engineers, promoting a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to ensure the platform remains competitive, compliant, and innovative.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex technical challenges through direct engagement, including prototyping, architectural modeling, and code reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a principal engineer or architect-level role.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud-native architectures(AWS, Azure, or GCP) and large-scale SaaS product development.
- Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and API design.
- Proven experience with the deployment and operationalization of AI/ML technologieswithin SaaS environments.
- In-depth understanding of security, compliance, and multi-tenant SaaS best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional initiatives and delivering high-impact technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or integrating AI-driven SaaS applications(e.g., personalization, recommendation systems, natural language processing, or predictive analytics).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and system observability.
- Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS company or enterprise software environment.
