  • Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job C.1 Key Result Areas :

Technical support of market strategy Major Activities:

  • Provide technical support such as organizing technical seminar, workshop to introduce and promote products for Sales.
  • Propose technical input/recommendation to team for actives implementation based on analysis of product performance vs. competitive products.
  • Define and rank performance requirement for technical success.
  • Visit customers to collect and analyze field information of customers' expectations/problems on product performance/technical service needs to verify product suitability of application.
  • Onsite support as trouble shooter and technical consultant, including handling/follow-up complaints or technical related issues. Outcome:

Satisfy customer and maintain business from technical side, enhance company image C.2 Key Result Areas : Product application and development Major Activities:

  • Identify customer needs and determine their service needs, and procedures to meet their satisfaction with product and services by customer meeting, visit, workshop etc.
  • Catch up the business opportunity for our products. Recommend competitive grade and provide technical support on the whole project.
  • Enhance business opportunities via product application, meet customer's expectation and solve technical problem.
  • Study the material in different region/ industry/application.
  • Recommendations to Team – technical & Sales for developing/evaluating product application, defining marketability, notifications and termination of ineffective products.
  • Update working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices and share with Sale/marketing team. Outcome:

  • Support the product launch to ensure smooth introduction of the product in customer.
  • Communicate well with PM/Sales during product launch.
  • Share with Sales and marketing team via reporting/workshops the experience gained during product launch in proper way.
  • Justify the sample quantity and work with team for sample arrangement
  • Prepare the documents(certification/test report in third-party etc.)required by customer.

  • Monitor and update competitors' information on products and counter-grades performance, production capacity, application and market demand & supply etc.
  • Clarify the project requirement and prepare related support document such as datasheet, brochure, catalogue and processing guidelines .
  • Collect application technical information for databank: material/coloring/test method/secondary processing: painting, electric plate, welding etc.

  • Required profile: Level of education & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor or above, major in Polymer Science or related. Experience in general:
  • >5 years related technical service experiences.
  • Preferable experience in ABS production/technical. Technical skills:
  • Injection/extrusion specialist.
  • Secondary processing: painting, electric plating, welding.
  • Analytical ability. Competencies, Behavioral skills:
  • Good written / spoken English.
  • Good at communication with Sales and customers.
  • Familiar with plastics property and application.
  • Strong self-learning capability.
  • Skillful at Microsoft office software.
  • Skillful at presentation.
