We are currently seeking a talented and innovative Senior Merchandise Manager to join our global sourcing operations located at Shanghai office.

As the Senior Merchandise Manager, you will:

Job Descriptions

  • Full responsible and drive efficient sourcing and production management of designated categories Pet Toys, Clothing & CLH for customer Ross & dds.
  • Manage day-to-day merchandising processes from sourcing, product development, order allocation/scheduling, strategic vendor management, cost and budget control, and coaching team members to ensure cross-functional relationships.
  • •Engage effectively with U.S. customers on project development, vendor strategies, market trends, alignment in product development, and any production-related issues that may come up. Build and strengthen long-term business relationships by delivering exceptional customer service to drive business growth.
  • Manage a project against a plan and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work.
  • Enhance and further develop a robust vendor matrix to strengthen collaboration with key existing suppliers, while also engaging new suppliers to meet future business requirements.
  • Team management: coach, develop and mentor team members to strengthen sourcing team overall capability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive global sourcing or supply chain experience in hardgoods
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process.
  • Able to work under pressure, energetic, good can-do attitude, self- motivated, responsive, and proactive, team player
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple tasks environment.
  • Strong communication skills, Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Literate in Microsoft office programs.
  • Travel is required.
