该职位来源于猎聘 As our Legal Counsel, you will be instrumental in fostering a proactive and compliant legal culture, particularly within our China operations and across APAC. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Legal Excellence: Operationally implement initiatives to enhance the team's mindset, processes, and capabilities. You'll champion change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive legal engagement across the organization.
  • Contract Administration: Participate in the creation, revision, and maintenance of all relevant contracts and legal documentation within our Contract Management System. You'll ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with local and international standards.
  • Navigating the Regulatory Landscape: Continuously monitor changes in legislation and the regulatory environment across APAC, with a deep understanding of PRC-specific legal developments. Provide timely, pragmatic, and actionable advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Project-Based Legal Support: Provide legal support to business projects throughout their lifecycle. This includes advising on legal risks, drafting agreements, and ensuring compliance.
  • Compliance Representation: Act as an advocate for compliance awareness throughout the APAC organization. Deliver training on our Code of Conduct and various legal topics.
  • Contract Review & Negotiation: Review and revise various contract templates and model clauses. You will review and redline agreements, actively participate in negotiations, and coordinate contract execution.
  • Data Privacy: Respond to all data privacy inquiries and evaluations, implementing and reviewing standard data processing agreements (DPAs) and other related documents, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection laws in the APAC region, particularly in the PRC.
  • Third-Party Oversight: Provide legal opinions on third parties' general terms and conditions, codes, and similar documents, including redlining and assessing revisions to Weidmann's standard templates, codes, and policies.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Provide general support and assistance to the General Counsel, and actively contribute to ad-hoc tasks as needed.

You are a legal professional with a strong track record of success in a multinational environment.

  • Extensive Legal Experience: A Master's degree in Law with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in the legal field, preferably in-house within a multinational company, with significant exposure to corporate services, commercial contracts, and compliance.
  • PRC Legal Expertise: Deep and demonstrable expertise in PRC corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Understanding of legal nuances and practical application within the Chinese market is essential.
  • APAC Regional Knowledge: Experience navigating the legal landscapes of various APAC countries beyond mainland China, demonstrating a broad regional understanding.
  • Change Management Acumen: Experience in contributing to change management processes, particularly in influencing mindsets and implementing new processes within legal or compliance functions.
  • High Compliance Awareness: A sophisticated understanding of compliance principles and a proven ability to implement a strong compliance culture across an organization.
  • Contractual Mastery: Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of legal documents.
  • Analytical Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legislation into practical business applications, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Industry Knowledge (Plus): Experience within the manufacturing or logistics industry is a strong advantage.
