EDS Engineer
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier to finish the design, development, verification and release of wiring harness assembly and
 
components for LVEA programs.
- Work with PMST to finish the cost/ timing analysis of EDS development for new program or design
 
changes.
- Lead interface between engineering/functional owners, supplier, manufacturing and core to ensure
 
delivery on time and quality.
- Manage FSS team to work closely on open task/ issues to ensure the on-time deliver for each milestone.
 - Manage high complexity of parts and coordinate with multiple plants to maintain commonality in design.
 - Coodinate the interface with Ford x-functional team, suppliers and external manufacturing teams.
 - On-site support during prototype build and production launch at supplier and Ford plant locations
 - Coach the new team members from both techincial and process perspective
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above in electrical or electronics engineering,automotive engineering or
 
equivalent, or major with electrical and electronics related courses.
- Solid automotive engineering knowledge, especially in wiring harness design.
 - Strong knowledge of electrical distribution system development process, deliverables and
 
milestones/gateways.
- Good communication skills and capability in utilising all communication tools.
 - Good planning, organizational and project management skills.
 - Team player and ability to lead and work with cross functional teams.
 - 3+ years of wiring harness engineering experience.
