The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Benefits Consultant to join Tesla's Regional Compensation and Benefits team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about driving positive change across the Company and must be analytical and strategic in identify efficiencies to deliver exceptional results. You must have a strong ability to work on multiple task deliverables, handle sensitive information and partner with HRBPs, Leaders and Employees to deliver exceptional results on a company-wide scale. The role will be based in Shanghai or Tokyo.

Responsibilities

  • Assiss Regional Benefits Leader to design, review & implement the related benefits policy & plan, including insurance, leave, recognition & wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills to drive robust understanding of benefits polices, including insurance, recognition & wellbeing among HRBPs, Leaders and employees.
  • Proactively support the review of existing Benefits program processes and development of new compensation policies for the region, as well as the implementation of internal benefits tools and systems.
  • Leverage on external best practices to plan and administer employee Benefits and Wellbeing programs and policies in the region, to deliver an exceptional and consistent employee experience.
  • Explore Manage external relationships with key vendors to drive visibility and ensure effective administration and delivery of Benefits programs.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business teams to drive Benefits programs in line with Tesla's benefits strategy.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis and analyse market trends and survey benchmarking data to develop effective Benefits programs and strategies.
  • Stay current on all emerging benefits regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Analytics or similar, or demonstrated benefits/broker experience.
  • 1 -2 years of experience as a Reward Specialist or Benefits Consultant. Prior experience in Consulting preferred.
  • Good understanding of broad-based regional benefits programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of benefits with a deep interest in analysing data to drive sound decision-making
  • Advanced experience of internal communication with diversified culture
  • Possess a high level of integrity. Be widely trusted, direct, and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence.
  • Solution and client service-oriented, with a strong emphasis on problem solving & delivery quality
  • Proven organisational and stakeholder management abilities with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate with multiple language: English, Japanese & Mandarin to interact with regional stakeholders.
  • Photoshop, Video Shooting or others, Tableau experience is a plus.
