Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
oGenerate nuclear products qualification plan per industry codes/standards and customer specifications

oConduct engineering calculations per codes or customer requirements, e.g. EPRI Actuator Sizing, Weak-link calculation, Transient Analysis

oInteract with Test & Evaluation Group for nuclear qualification testing. Work together with Test Engineer to develop test plan, analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications

oSummarize tests or calculations/analyses results and generate qualification reports per Engineering Practices

oSummarize the non-conformances of code parts occurs during the valve manufacturing and report to customer.

oBased on previous test results or product operational experience to generate seismic or environmental certifications for certain products

oIdentify the safety-related parts in nuclear valves per Engineering Standards and generate the dedication plans for the parts if need

oCustomer specifications review to provide technical support to Sales team for nuclear projects quotation

oTechnical questions response to customers on nuclear qualification or products

oEngineering Practice development to materialize the engineering experience, engineering tools development and maintenance.

oProviding technical support during customer or 3rd party audits.

Who You Are:
A motivated self-starter with an understanding of engineering fundamentals and general application.

Creative Ability Required With Solid Analytical Skills.
Individuals must possess effective communication and good interpersonal skills.

For This Role, You Will Need:
oBachelor or master degree in engineering, with preference on mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or material engineering.

oSolid knowledge on mechanical design is required, working knowledge in on ASME SEC III, RCCM or other nuclear related code/standards is plus

oExperience in the process control or related design field or experience in nuclear power plant is preferred

oFamiliar with MS office software, computer-aided design and simulation programs

oProficient in spoken and written English

oHighly organized and self-motivated
