Job Description
What You Will Do:
- Combine regulatory standards and specifications (such as US DOT, CSC, UIC, TIR, ADR/RID, etc.) with customer requirements to complete design reviews for container structural strength, sealing, and safety.
- Utilize tools like Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to conduct simulation modeling and strength check reviews for the pressure-bearing performance of pressure vessels and the load-bearing capacity of frames.
- Evaluate the container design drawings, specifications, prototype test reports, etc., to ensure designs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards (such as CSC, ADR/RID, ASME, ISO, etc.).
- Based on design documents, output technical specifications, calculation reports, as well as relevant laws, regulations, and international standards to carry out the update of ABS procedure instructions.
- Interface with customers' technical requirements, providing professional technical solution support and technical Q&A services.
- Track cutting-edge industry technologies and propose product innovation directions and feasible suggestions.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Machinery, Material Forming and Control Engineering, or related majors.
- Preferred: Hold a pressure vessel design certificate or be familiar with ASME, EN standards.
- Fresh graduates in relevant majors OR with 3+ years of experience in TANK CONTAINER or pressure vessel design, and have complete product development project experience.
- Proficient in using design and analysis software.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Master international maritime regulations and pressure vessel design specifications.
- Possess strong structural mechanics analysis and innovative design capabilities; familiar with tools like Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to conduct simulation modeling and strength verification reviews for pressure vessel pressure-bearing performance and frame load-bearing capacity.
- CET-6 or above in English, capable of proficiently reading English technical documents
