As a
Senior Project Manager
, you will lead client strategy, oversee project execution, and drive account growth for some of our most valued clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, has a strong business mindset, and enjoys developing both people and partnerships.
Primary Objectives
- Lead and grow strategic client accounts by serving as a trusted advisor, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
- Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and Associates to achieve outstanding client satisfaction and project turnaround metrics.
- Drive revenue growth by proactively expanding user engagement, converting trials into long-term clients, and promoting Guidepoint's full suite of services.
- Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Vertical Directors, and global teams to optimize client experience and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
Strategic Client & Project Management
- Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value client relationships, ensuring service quality, responsiveness, and long-term engagement.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously across sectors, coordinating execution through your team while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
- Oversee project scoping, delivery timelines, and Advisor quality control to ensure successful completion within agreed parameters.
- Conduct regular account reviews and performance analyses with internal teams and clients to identify usage trends, client pain points, and growth opportunities.
- Partner with the Business Development team to align account strategy with commercial goals and provide insights to strengthen renewal and upsell discussions.
- Proactively manage client issues, ensuring swift resolution and continuous improvement of client satisfaction.
Leadership & People Development
- Coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers and Associates to build a high-performing team.
- Provide training and guidance on best practices in project execution, client management, and Advisor engagement.
- Evaluate team performance, identify skill gaps, and drive individual growth through structured feedback and development planning.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members, sharing best practices and Guidepoint culture.
Business Growth & Collaboration
- Develop and execute account plans to deepen client relationships and maximize account potential.
- Collaborate with Sales and Client Growth teams to identify new opportunities, including upsells, cross-sells, and reactivations of inactive users.
- Promote Guidepoint's full product offerings — including surveys, teleconferences, and custom research — to enhance client engagement.
- Represent Client Service in regional and global initiatives to enhance cross-office collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to all client-specific and internal compliance protocols.
- Screen for compliance "red flags" and escalate to Legal Counsel where appropriate.
- Uphold Guidepoint's quality standards by monitoring Advisor rates, call quality, and client feedback across all projects.
What You'll Have
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance; advanced degree preferred
- 5–8 years of experience in consulting, strategic analysis, client service, or research project management, ideally within professional services or the Expert Network industry
- Proven track record in managing key accounts and delivering measurable client growth
- Experience leading a team with demonstrated success in mentoring and developing others
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Strong commercial acumen and client relationship management skills
- Exceptional project management capability with attention to quality and efficiency
- Proactive, analytical, and adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure
- High level of ownership and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
