We are seeking an outstanding Clinical Services Manager and Professional Lead to join our Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering a high-quality, innovative SLT service that meets the needs of our diverse communities.
About The Role
As Clinical Services Manager (Band 8C), you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the city-wide Adult Acute SLT service.
- Lead, inspire, and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure robust clinical governance, financial control, and adherence to best practice standards.
- Drive service development, workforce planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Deliver on key performance objectives, including waiting times and access targets.
- Provide professional leadership for SLT, offering expert advice, supervision, and mentorship to colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager and Sector Management Team to ensure efficient, effective delivery of all services across the Clyde Sector.
- Play a central role in transforming and modernising SLT services, ensuring they are fit for the future and fully aligned with the "GGC Way Forward Together" strategy.
