In Taste, Texture & Health (TTH), we support customers in creating delicious, nutritious, affordable, and sustainable food and beverage products. In Supply Chain Management we aim to reliably provide relevant goods and services, while balancing service, cost, and cash through efficient processes. Our TTH Supply Chain Engineering team drives improvements by designing and optimizing (physical and digital) processes.
As an Expert for Supply Chain Engineering, you join a global team implementing major optimization projects. Responsibilities include analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, building business cases, managing projects, and tracking results. Your expertise in process improvement, digital tools, analytics, and automation is critical. If you are passionate about innovation and cross-functional global collaboration, you will thrive in our team.
Your key responsibilities
- Based on your performance analyses and insights, you identify and manage improvement projects of TTH's physical and digital supply chain processes.
- You act as project manager, bringing the right functional capabilities, project management skills, and continuous improvement expertise to successfully identify and implement changes in the end-to-end supply chain. This includes automation, application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
- You contribute to the strategic process and digital supply chain roadmaps.
- Promote our continuous improvement culture and continuously develop your own and the supply chain community's Lean Six Sigma competencies and project management skills, while interacting with colleagues of different cultures and functions.
We Offer
- A rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers, in a category of one.
- Empowerment to make meaningful contributions while upholding our values, always striving for continuous improvement.
- A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset.
- A flexible work environment that empowers people to take accountability for their work and own the outcome.
- A firm belief that working together with our customers is the key to achieving great things.
- An eagerness to be one team and learn from each other to bring progress to life and create a better future.
You bring
- We welcome candidates who hold a bachelor's or master's degree and proven experience in Supply Chain Management or related field, or who have a strong academic background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science with a demonstrated interest in supply chain processes
- 2-3 years' experience in process improvement roles or equivalent, coupled with a proficiency in using the latest (digital) tooling for analytics, automation, AI/ML, and process improvements.
- Ideally, you have basic knowledge of Lean methods (Waste identification, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA). Practice will however be valued higher than theory.
- You are a conceptual out-of-the box thinker, challenge the status-quo, and at the same time drive implementation, execution, and continuous improvement. This shows in your project management skills and your hands-on proactive attitude.
- As a strong team player, you feel energized by bridging various teams and disciplines throughout the organization to achieve your goals – from shopfloor to higher management.
- Your written and conversational English is at a proficient level to enable working in a global organization and team. Any other language is a plus. Your presentation and communication skills are up to par.
