POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly capable
Senior IT Manager - AI
with both strong technical and managerial expertise to join our IT Department.

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving digital transformation and intelligent system initiatives across the retail business — including system development, AI application, and vendor management.

The ideal candidate should possess solid project management experience, excellent communication and coordination skills, strong technical understanding, and a keen insight into emerging technologies, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management and Execution

  • Lead overall IT project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met;

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, resource coordination, risk management, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization;

  • Establish and promote standardized project management processes and tools to enhance execution efficiency.

  • Vendor and Consultant Management

  • Coordinate external consultants and vendor resources to ensure alignment between external deliverables and internal requirements;

  • Participate in vendor selection, contract management, and performance evaluation to ensure high-quality and on-time delivery.

  • Technical and System Understanding

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of key enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and Membership Management platforms, and communicate effectively with external development teams;

  • Evaluate and oversee system architecture, data flow, and API design to ensure sound technical decisions.

  • AI and Emerging Technology Implementation

  • Participate in the planning and execution of AI-related initiatives, such as recommendation systems, search optimization, natural language processing (NLP), and intelligent customer service solutions;

  • Stay current with emerging technologies such as machine learning, generative AI, and automation, and proactively identify innovative applications that deliver business value.

  • Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with business units, management, and external partners to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals;

  • Lead project meetings, report progress, and proactively resolve key challenges and dependencies.

  • Team Development and Knowledge Sharing

  • Contribute to internal knowledge management and the documentation of best practices in project delivery;

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field preferred;
  • Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience, with a proven record of successfully delivering medium-to-large scale systems or platform projects;
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand code logic, data structures, and API design —
    hands-on development experience
    (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java) is required;
  • Familiarity with
    Agile
    ,
    Scrum

    Waterfall
    methodologies;
    PMP
    or equivalent certification preferred;
  • Prior experience in
    AI-related projects
    (e.g., recommendation algorithms, search optimization, NLP, data analytics, or large language model applications) is highly desirable;
  • Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration skills;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively bridge business and technical discussions;
  • Passion for emerging technologies, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
