Responsibilities
- Provide data and privacy legal advice and day-to-day support to Tencent's global businesses.
- Develop and implement compliance program to ensure compliance with international data privacy and personal information collection laws, regulations and standards, including the GDPR, CCPA and PDPO/ PDPA.
- Draft, review, negotiate and administer legal and commercial agreements.
- Analyse global privacy legal requirements and keep our stakeholders abreast of latest privacy laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, negotiate and administer legal and commercial documentations.
- Analyse global privacy legal requirements and oversee keep our stakeholders abreast of all new privacy laws and regulations that may have implications to Tencent.
Qualifications
- Common law qualified lawyer with at least 2 years PQE, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience.
- Strong interest in the internet, social media, gaming and cloud service space.
- Proactive approach and able to handle matters independently.
- Possess sound interpersonal and communication skills, and work well in a team environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPP/E, CIPP/US and CIPM certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
