Responsibilities

Provide data and privacy legal advice and day-to-day support to Tencent's global businesses.
Develop and implement compliance program to ensure compliance with international data privacy and personal information collection laws, regulations and standards, including the GDPR, CCPA and PDPO/ PDPA.
Draft, review, negotiate and administer legal and commercial agreements.
Analyse global privacy legal requirements and keep our stakeholders abreast of latest privacy laws and regulations.
Draft, review, negotiate and administer legal and commercial documentations.
Analyse global privacy legal requirements and oversee keep our stakeholders abreast of all new privacy laws and regulations that may have implications to Tencent.

Qualifications

Common law qualified lawyer with at least 2 years PQE, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience.
Strong interest in the internet, social media, gaming and cloud service space.
Proactive approach and able to handle matters independently.
Possess sound interpersonal and communication skills, and work well in a team environment.
Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
