Technical support and control to MSL on routine work
Lead and support MSL to identify the priorities to,

  • Involve in developing the regional Medical strategy/brand/product strategies;
  • Provide medical insights in portfolio management;
  • Identify/map/engage KOL with value co-creation through medical projects/events;
  • Gain medical insights by holding regional AB meeting;
  • Initiate medical education program such as Journal club, publication workshop, TTT, post-congress, etc.
  • Coordinate MSL team to fully support to post marketing study and study coordinator for regional IIS
  • Proactively share the latest medical information including clinical trial data, new publication, treatment guideline/consensus interpretation and provide summary of product efficacy and safety profile through regular new sales or advanced training to sales team;
  • Participate key national/regional promotional activities and provide speaker management for KOLs;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers such as marketing access, regulatory team, business development etc. via supporting activities of Market Access or hospital listing and regulatory dossiers preparation, medical assessment of new product/indication plan;
  • Timely response to medical inquiry from the fields;
  • Provide appropriate medical input in product crisis management.

Lead regional initiated project, establish medical quality system

  • Lead key regional initiated projects in TA or cross-TA;
  • Play an internal reviewer role of medical initiated events and medical generated material;
  • Enable internal quality system, lead and develop local SOP or internal process.

Team management

  • Lead the MSL team to identify and execute medical priorities in TA as one team;
  • Develop the MSL team including recruitment, setting up annual objective and individual development plan, performance evaluation, talent review, promotion and succession plan;
  • Identify the training needs, explore training resources, feedback, coach, guide, evaluate and develop MA/MSL team to achieve the team and individual target as well as individual development plan;

Proactively involve in the department SOP development and provide medical governance cross-function as compliant role model.
