Position Objective
Follow New Product Development /i2V(Cost down)/ process and requirements to deliver Starter and Control panel design for compressor products, like Star-Delta, VSD drive, soft starter and so forth.
Responsibilities
- Define new product project's CTQs, DFMEA, and DVPR of Electrical. Design electrical system(Low voltage components, VFD, Sensor, Starter Box & PLC Coding) and released electrical BOM. Verify new products design and solve problems. Ensure new product projects meet QDC requirements.
- Identify VAVE opportunities and drive products cost down;
- According to customer requirement, provide solution with reliable design and reasonable cost;
- Ensure all design meet regional codes;
- Work with suppliers and clarify requirements/codes/standards;
- Analyze quality issue, address root cause and provide professional solution;
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or equivalent required
- At least 5 years experience in electrical control design.
- Be familiar with contactor, Fuse, Solid state starter, VFD, PLC control
- Be familiar with motor qualification and application
- Be familiar with relative electrical codes for GB, CE and UL
- Be familiar with common office software application and design tool AUTOCAD.
- Strong trouble shooting skills in electrical control.
