This position is an important connection between R&D and Production and is responsible for the technical data management relating to the BOM for Production &

Logistics. Maintenance of Taufung data and timely and accurate maintenance of the

Production BOM to ensure effective operation of the supply chain data flow.

  • Setup, activation and startup of initial data in the system at the beginning of a new project and update, modification of system rules, if necessary.
  • Organize the Taufung regular meetings in the pre-series phase, cooperate with relevant departments to complete the definition of part assembly level and workshop location, maintenance of the system, and solve problems encountered in this process.
  • Complete the daily worklists, maintain and manage parts system according to the project schedule, and ensure the effective transmission of the parts information in the production system to the downstream system.
  • Consultancy services for data users, be able to identify problems in the data transmission process and quickly analyze the causes and develop corresponding solutions.
  • Necessary system controls and tests based on upstream and downstream requirements to ensure the effective transmission of the parts information in the production.
  • Provide various reports and part lists as required by the project.
  • Support the implementation or extension of IT systems. Confirm the business blueprint and business process of the localization system with the IT department, and assist in the data preparation and migration after the system goes live.
  • Prepare and release standard documents, work processes and QMS documents.
  • Identify areas of potential improvement within Pre-series Logistics.
  • Qualification and skills:
  • Bachelor degree or higher from university 2. 3 years work experience, automotive background preferred. Experience in

  • Familiar with vehicle structure and manufacturing processes. Familiar with the parts list system of Volkswagen Group. Strong sense of self-drive, responsibility and full of innovation. Good communication skills, teamwork and work efficiently under high pressure. Proficient in the use of MS Office software. Able to use data analysis software e.g. Power BI or Python is beneficial .Excellent language skills in English (written and spoken). German proficiency is beneficial. Project management and OEM new vehicle project experience is beneficial. 2 Vehicle Ordering
  • Responsibility:

This position is responsible for data maintenance for the whole vehicle order in the system and releasing the orders on time. Guide the downstream Logistics and Production processes.

  • Organize pre series vehicle order steering meeting with relevant departments to keep to the necessary timeline and solve problems encountered in the process.
  • Collect and check project information including milestone, commercial offer, vehicle order volume and definition of partially equipped cars, etc. Configure parameter, and basic data in pre series order management system.
  • Generate and update the pre series orders accurately and on time according to the previous input of order demand list and plan the pre series vehicle orders into the production systems.
  • Validity check in functions and equipment against the rules of technical development and distribution systems (MBT and MBV). Final plausibility check of the order configuration with correct project status.
  • Create the vehicle memorandum in pre series system and distribute the memo to customers and production.
  • Coordinate the date/characteristics changes in vehicle orders with customers/plants due to project decisions.
  • Release and freeze the vehicle orders in the system according to the parts ordering timeline.
  • Establishment and maintenance of production control classification numbers for each model in order system.
  • Prepare and release standard documents, work processes and QMS documents.
  • Identify areas of potential improvement within Pre-series Logistics.
