Role Responsibilities
- Support the strategic leadership of the sales team in achieving their goals and objectives through ongoing training, coaching and performance management.
- Support the development of sales strategies and sales approaches to grow market share and increase revenue generation and respond to client's needs.
- Mentoring of a diverse sales team, consisting of key account managers, sales executives, and business development teams.
- Train and coach, the sales, and global teams in data analytics to understand market trends, the competitive landscape and to identify opportunities through informed business decisions.
- Reporting to and supporting the Senior Manager, Sales Performance and Engagement - Asia by conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Supporting the Asia Training Manager in developing and delivering sales training programs to equip the team with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Role Requirements
- A Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles and in a training capacity through team coaching and strong sales standards gained in multiple years' experience.
- An excellent communicator and presenter in all forms and audience sizes.
- The ability to work in a matrix management business with many competing priorities.
- An understanding of modern workforce pressures and H.R. in today's hybrid workplace.
- Strong business acumen and experienced in putting into place sales processes and increasing productivity.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
- Demonstrable ability to coach and support varied training needs at multiple levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
- A graduate ideally from a Business or a related field background
- Fluent in English; a second language and preferably Mandarin Chinese would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of travel, preferably online B2B, hospitality or travel related technology industries would be beneficial but not essential. Other industries with strong sales standards such as FMCG, retail and events would also be considered.
