The Director of Operations will lead and oversee all aspects of manufacturing across multiple facilities, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high-quality output. This role is responsible for strategic planning, production management, process optimization, and team leadership to support the company's growth and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on capacity planning, capital investments, and long-term operational goals.
- Oversee daily operations across production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and cost standards.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure adherence to ISO and other relevant quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing multi-site operations and driving operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
