Assist the Senior Marketing Director in developing the visual integrity, experience, and communication of all Clarks offline distribution point within GC region. He/She has robust communication, training and presentation skill with great fashion taste and commercial mindset; driving business, lead VM initiatives, and upholding in-store experience and brand image, and most important thing is product presentation and storytelling. This role requires a self-motivational person, responsible for managing and tracking multi projects, executing and evolving existing trainings. This candidate is an out of box thinker; developing strategies to promote the business and the brand, through visual merchandising. *This role is expected to travel. This role will work closely with other across functions in the company including brand & Consumer Marketing, Sales (DTC & WHS), Retail Operations, Logistic and Finance, and global marketing environment team.
Also closely work with any retail agencies, production venders and landlord to ensure the business success and excellent execution with best ROI.
Core Accountabilities
Business management: Assist to develop multi VM guideline & toolkit for different channel purposes and oversee implementation of floorsets Direct and support all store openings, pop-ups, and temporary locations across all offline business channels. Responsible for Clarks full-price stores VM related business, such as Clarks Original stores and potential future Clarks sports stores, covering the corresponding stores in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
Take charge of all VM related business, such as upcoming Clarks children's shoe stores, Clarks Lifestyle stores, and upcoming Cloudstepper stores. Remain cognizant of VM trends in local regions, especially for footwear, sportswear, fashion lifestyle and luxury brands. Collaborate with merchandising team, DTC team and WHS team on VM strategies to enhance brand image and drive business. Effectively communicate with DTC store teams and WHS partners on local KPIs to drive business through VM Develop in-store communication ecosystem via window, launch table, gondola, FTW wall and other area under marketing & merchandising calendar cadence based on different store types and images, to deliver comprehensive image, story and communication to consumers by creative, impactful, on-trend and cost efficient way, meanwhile supervise the transportation and logistics of VM tools(props) and fixtures. Ability to successfully communicate with vendors or external partners supporting VM initiatives ad-hoc support according to leaders' requirement. Reporting and analytics: Assist MD to analyze sales reports, identifying business trends and patterns, used to enhance VM strategies. Skillfully self-evaluate local VM tools(props) and fixtures, collecting data on execution and customer experience. Also can do the same evaluation on global guideline if has to better fit in local needs. Effectively solicit, collect, and organize field feedback; used to enhance VM collateral and initiatives. Guide, motivate, and inspire field team to endorse brand vision through in-store presentation. Plan and conduct productive store visits training and motivating stores to uphold visual excellence. Evolve VM programs and process to support, both development and engagement, of field partners. Essential Knowledge: College degree or above, preferably in a marketing, fashion merchandising or design related discipline Minimum of 6+ years' VM experience with fashion retail industry Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong executive presence; ability o present and communicate to global if need Exceptional visual merchandising and presentation skills Robust business-driving skills and consumer experience-focused Extreme agility; creatively respond to shifts in business Strong organization skills and attention to details Ability to balance multiple projects and shift focuses, as needed Cognizant of competitive trends in fashion, styling, design in the retail landscape Technical Skills: Proficient in adobe creative suite; photoshop, indesign, illustrator is highly preferred as plus
