About The Role
The impact you'll make:
Conceptualizes, designs and creates mechanical functions and features for new solutions, incl. manufacturing process specifications:
Defines and designs mechanical functions based on product requirements, technical feasibility, cost and aesthetical design in-line with agreed value proposition
Evaluates mechanical options and optimize components, modules and systems for product realization; test and evaluates safety, quality, useability, robustness, manufacturability and sustainability of parts and functions
Builds prototypes and evaluate performance, optimize design based on product and user requirements using state of the art simulation techniques
Creates a transition for the product from design to manufacturing at scale
Supports quality maintenance and improvement for mechanical (sub-)systems
The Skills And Knowledge You'll Bring
Min. 10 years experience in mechanical industrial engineering, min. 4 years for senior role, min 5 years for Principal/Lead engineer role.
Knowledge of mechanical engineering; experience in DfMA, FMEA, CAD, CAE etc.
Minimum BSc Mechanical engineering/Mechatronics; Master degree preferred.
Knowledge in Autodesk, DfSS, Matlab, Ansys, MBSE
Fluent in English and Madarin
