Job Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven Supply Chain Manager with a deep specialization in strategic sourcing and procurement. You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring a resilient, cost-effective, and high-quality supply chain that meets stringent regulatory standards. This role is critical to our operational efficiency, product quality, and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct raw materials, components, and services used in medical equipment manufacturing.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP processes, negotiation, supplier selection, and contract management.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to source alternative products, components, and technologies that drive innovation, reduce risk, and enhance our product portfolio.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality, delivery, or compliance, achieving year-over-year savings targets.
  • Analyze market trends, conduct cost modeling, and perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses to inform strategic decisions.

End-to-End Supply Chain Management:

  • Manage all international import/export trading&shipping activities, ensuring efficient and compliant cross-border movement of goods.
  • Oversee inbound (from suppliers) and outbound (to customers) logistics. Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize transportation modes, costs, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Oversee warehouse operations and implement strategies to optimize inventory across the network, minimizing carrying costs while maximizing service levels and ensuring supply continuity.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Qualify, onboard, and manage a robust supplier base, ensuring they meet our technical, quality, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, GMP)
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, Conduct regular supplier business reviews and lead initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proactively manage supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies(e.g dual sourcing, inventory planning)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) teams to influence design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for supply chain (DFSC).
  • Manage the introduction of new materials and components from prototype through to volume production.
  • Ensure all aspects of the supply chain comply with relevant medical industry regulations. Lead or support internal and supplier audits in conjunction with the Quality Assurance team.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Material, or Industrial Engineering). A Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or Supply Chain Management is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive and hands-on experience in end-to-end supply chain management, with at least 5 years focused on strategic sourcing and procurement within the medical device or medical equipment industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of global sourcing, procurement, international trade (import/export), logistics, and inventory management.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills on both English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with a focus on root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making across the entire supply chain.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning tools.
