Manage the Biomedical area, ensuring the maintenance and conservation of equipment as well as technical support. Monitor
acceptance tests of new medical technologies to ensure the installation, maintenance, availability and functioning of
equipment and facilities. Coordinate the services of contracted companies, evaluating service provision.
Observe compliance with health legislation.
Monitor the execution of projects and correct deviations ensuring quality, deadlines and budgeted costs. Responsible for the
development of policies, standards and procedures relating to the biomedical sector.
Manage and develop the biomedical team, understanding the need for new hires and training for the team.
Monitor outsourcing contracts, observing compliance with agreed services, ensuring the performance of contracted
services, as well as monitoring the execution of services by contracted companies;
- Provide guidance on technical specifications of materials, equipment and services as well as analytical budgets relating
to projects, maintenance, installations, and renovations;
- Ensure the management of the activities of the Biomedical Engineering team, contributing to improving efficiencies
and solutions for projects and works, through the provision of specialized support in the areas of engineering;
- Assist in contracting services and evaluate technical proposals to acquire materials and services in accordance with
Biomed specifications;
- Guide, supervise and ensure the correct use and archiving of project documents and technical documentation for the
biomed sector;
Controlling and monitoring inventory;
Plan, organize and control physical, material and human financial resources for the development of its duties, as well
as plan and control the quality of products and services generated by the area;
Discussing maintenance concerns with the employer and communicating these to Maintenance Workers;
Conducting site inspections and identifying areas requiring extra maintenance work;
Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation;
Contribute to strategic planning and compliance with your area's budget, as well as the consistency and reliability of
information provided by the area, monitoring and control of expenditures incurred and timely recommendations on
how to correct deviations;
- Maintain the qualification and performance of the work team, identifying needs for training and development,
promotion, transfer, hiring/replacement, etc., as well as promoting performance management and feedback,
interacting with the team in the application of policies, seeking an environment motivating for your employees;
Disseminate the company's mission, vision, values and work philosophy, through communication and engagement of leaders and teams, highlighting issues related to discipline, respect for hierarchy, ethics and professionalism, ensuring people's alignment with current guidelines;
Comply with and enforce the Institution's Mission and Strategic Vision, internal regulations, compliance requirements
and quality management systems, compliance with regulations and local health standards and procedures;
