Founded by former President of MSD China and former CEO of Biogen, our client has established significant partnerships for gene therapies targeting rare neurodevelopmental disorders and Innostellar Biotherapeutics. The company operates commercial channels in BoAo and the Beijing Special Zone. Job Description
The BD Director will be responsible for conducting due diligence, valuation, and commercial modeling, as well as providing insights into the China market. This role requires close collaboration with the founders, who lead scouting and negotiation efforts. The BD Director will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth plans, which include 13 deals currently in the pipeline.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have excellent
proficiency in English
and possess experience in either new drug
licensing in/out
or business development in investment banking or consulting. A background in pharmaceuticals is essential, and the candidate should have
hands-on entrepreneurial
experience, demonstrating
initiative and passion
. An MBA is a plus. The candidate should be ready to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the company's ambitious growth targets.
