Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and guide the team to achieve operational performance targets, including production output, operating costs, HSE compliance, and product quality, as defined by IB2 and the Tolling Agreement.
•Work in direct collaboration with the IB2 Site Director and maintain regular communication with IB2's representatives on-site.
•Participate in weekly operations meetings organized by the IB2 Site Director to review unit performance, raise issues, and align on actions.
•Propose and implement corrective action plans when operational performance deviates from agreed objectives.
•Drive value creation through continuous optimization of IB2 unit operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with IB2's goals.
•Maintain close cooperation with the Senze team, especially in coordinating raw material and energy supply logistics (e.g., recyclable bauxite waste reception, bauxite delivery to Senze, utilities supply).
•Oversee and manage operational contracts with subcontractors supporting IB2 activities.
•Immediately notify the IB2 Site Director of any major issues impacting operations, safety, or reputation.
•Manage the IB2 office facilities and guesthouse operations.
•Provide strong leadership by coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to build a competent and engaged team.
•Promote a positive work culture that prioritizes safety, responsibility, and performance.
•Uphold and model the highest standards of ethics and integrity, especially under pressure or conflicting demands.
•Perform any other duties as assigned by IB2 or Aden Services leadership.
Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor's degree or above in chemical engineering, industrial management, or related fields.
•Experience: At least 10 years of industrial experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role; experience in alumina/bauxite or chemical processing is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Familiarity with tolling agreements and industrial partnerships.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving orientation.
- Fluent in Chinese; proficiency in English and/or French is an advantage.
