  • Ability to communicate and direct supplier activities at the management level.
  • Ability to define and execute a project using project management techniques.
  • Excellent team building skills in dealing with suppliers, peers and other functional areas.
  • Strong technical writing ability and an ability to explain complex issues in a concise and plain manner.
  • Must be familiar with PPAP ,SPC, MSA data analysis and VDA 6.3 standard.
  • An average of 50-75% travel, possibly on short notice.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Audit suppliers on both system and process to ensure they (potential or approved one) can meet company's requirements. Cycle audit key suppliers in business plan according to company's quality requirements.
  • Qualify changed / new local material from supplier and timely report progress (PPAP/PQCS); communicate with suppliers to get the qualification process accomplished on time with good quality.
  • Support global supplier quality, work closely to coordinate and identify raw material quality issues in supplier's plant. Communicate with supplier to dispose raw material defect in time. Drive supplier for corrective action on raw material and out of tolerance issues.
  • Take charge of material receiving inspection.
  • Help key suppliers improve their quality, delivery and cost performance monitoring their performances and providing technical support and training.

Details job tasks (Mainly):

  • Handle supplier material quality issue for electronic products and other products.
  • Draw up material CP, analyse the material performance data, do inspection adjustment according to the ppm.
  • Set up supplier target and evaluate it.
  • Reduce raw material scrap and RTV (Return to Vender) ppm.
  • Drive supplier to improve material quality, drive supplier to finish CAR on time.
  • Finish material qualification PPAP
  • Cycle onsite audit accord with company requirement.
