Role Overview
This role focuses on studying the market trends, business opportunities, and advertising strategies of casual games — complementing the team's product-oriented expertise with a stronger market and commercial perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Insight:
Conduct in-depth research on the global casual gaming market and category development trends; track and analyze competitors' strategies and business models to produce forward-looking strategic reports. - Business Analysis:
Evaluate the market potential and investment value of casual game products, with an emphasis on user acquisition strategies, monetization models, and commercial performance. - Marketing Support:
Combine market data and user insights to provide recommendations for marketing campaigns and ad placement strategies. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with evaluation, user research, and business teams to transform market insights into concrete product and business strategies.
Requirements
- Experience & Skills:
5+ years of experience in gaming industry market research, strategy analysis, or related fields. Prior experience in casual gaming is preferred. Strong ability to independently manage comprehensive research projects. - Industry Understanding:
Deep knowledge of the casual game ecosystem, including user acquisition, trending gameplay, and growth strategies. Strong analytical mindset with excellent information sourcing and synthesis skills. - Personal Qualities:
Highly self-driven, commercially astute, and strategic in thinking. Strong communication skills and proactive in proposing and driving research initiatives. - Language & Location:
Chinese-speaking candidates preferred, especially those from emerging gaming markets such as Turkey. Must be based in Shenzhen.
