Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate or organize in project group, take technical analysis for market and customer demands, and complete feasibility analysis.
- Participate in technology decision, providing sufficient technical specifications.
- In charge of design, fabrication and testing in procedure of product development.
- Lead or participate in the development of supply chain for new projects, formulate the quality standards and test methods for raw materials.
- Lead or participate to set up pilot production line of new products.
- Prepare deliverables of new products per R&D process requirement.
- Project schedule management, Feed back to the customer accurately and timely.
- Familiar with the processes of project design and development, participate in plan formulation for projects or sub projects.
Qualification & Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Opto-Mechanical, Laser, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Optical system, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on RD experience in laser/optical system or related product design & development & assembly
- Expertise in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CAD/CAXA for complex assembly design.
- Proficiency in FEA/CFD tools (Solidworks, ANSYS, COMSOL) for thermal/stress analysis. Familiar with modeling software like Zemax/MATLAB, etc.
- Strong knowledge of materials science (metals, ceramics, composites) for laser applications.
- Familiar with optical components (e.g., mirrors, lenses, gratings) and characterization tools (spectrometers, power meters, beam profilers)
- Proficient in experimental and laboratory skills, such as data collection and analysis, technical document writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in English writing and speaking.
