Job Role:
The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all suppliers meet ABYAT's quality standards through factory audits and product inspections. This role involves conducting regular factory audits, overseeing first product shipments, and ensuring that new suppliers adhere to international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform annual factory audits for all suppliers to ensure compliance with ABYAT's quality standards and world-class manufacturing practices.
- Inspect first shipments for all new suppliers to ensure they meet agreed-upon quality standards.
- Oversee and approve the first shipments of new products from existing suppliers to ensure quality consistency.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
- Develop and implement corrective actions where suppliers fail to meet the required standards.
- Stay updated on global quality control standards and best practices, ensuring ABYAT's quality guidelines are adhered to.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control, preferably in the furniture or home improvement sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, factory audits, and inspection protocols.
- Familiarity with international quality standards.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel extensively for factory audits and inspections across China.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
