This role
As a
Data Specialist
at KNRX (Kognic China), you'll own the customer journey: from uncovering customers' annotation requirements and setting up projects and workflows, to onboarding, driving productivity at scale, and turning delivery into retention and growth. You'll pair the judgment of a trusted advisor with the technical depth and hands-on experience required to run data annotation for Autonomous Driving.
This means guiding customers through adopting our platform, ensuring their datasets meet defined quality standards, and enabling their teams to get the most from Kognic. You'll balance customer goals, technical solutions, and delivery timelines, shaping how customers use Kognic to build their data flywheel.
As the first Data Specialist in the Chinese branch, you'll have significant learning opportunities and real impact. You'll have the chance to shape the future and deliver on our mission of bringing global leadership in Data Delivery to China.

We are looking for you
We're looking for someone who:
- Combines technical expertise with customer-facing role;
- Hands-on experience in delivering datasets for training and validating Intelligence Driving models and systems;
- Takes ownership of platform retention and expansion in customer accounts.
You understand customer challenges in creating sensor-fusion datasets for an AI-backed Intelligent Driving stack. Rapidly evolving technologies are something you constantly track, and you recognize their impact on annotation demands. The latest Kognic platform features never pass you by, as you make sure to stay up to date. When it comes to productivity–quality trade-offs, you know how to design optimal annotation workflows within the Kognic platform. Analytical thinking allows you to interpret usage trends and proactively drive platform adoption. Customers appreciate how well you manage expectations, and colleagues value your ability to lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues effectively. Even under pressure and with several tasks competing for attention, you thrive and keep critical paths moving forward.
In daily basis, you'll lead customer demos and educational sessions, review outputs, solve complex data and workflow challenges, and advise customers and/or workforce partners on creating high-quality datasets while maximizing productivity. Understanding sensor-fusion concepts and computer vision (coordinate frames, transformations, projections, geometry, and linear algebra) is a plus. Your daily work will involve scripting in Python and working with Kognic APIs.
Proficiency in Chinese and fluency in English (both speaking and writing) are a must.
