Position summary:
The BD Director will have ownership & accountability for customer business unit strategy, performance, and for all customer-related activities to drive customer satisfaction, growth & profitability for the APAC region.
Key responsibilities:
- Provides input for overall China growth strategy; drives overall strategy process and related activities across BGs
- Identifies and drives future business opportunities on new technologies, products, markets and customers to ensure profitable growth
- Identifies and communicates markets trends to the organization and derives recommendations regarding the China technical portfolio and product roadmap.
- Develops strategies (including pricing) concerning future technologies, products, markets and customers ensuring the alignment
- Builds up new and strengthens existing relationships with the China whitespace customers in cooperation with sales
- Executes first market roll-out of advanced technology products and advises on further programs
- Develops future business plans and business cases for innovations
Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (in related field) with strong capabilities to absorb technical information.
Qualifications/ certifications:
- At least 8-10 years working experience in automotive industry with solid marketing or business development expertise
- Solid data analysis, reporting consolidation, presentation skills and rich events management experience
- Closely contact with key customers, experienced in sales management will be highly preferred
- Multiple cultural working experience with strong communication to global team
- Passionate and good influence power to drive changes/ internal initiatives.
