MISSION
In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization
- The battery Machinery project leader is responsible of battery pack production line development as a project manager.
- He/she has to follow company safety procedure and always wear required PPE during work in company.
Responsibilities & Activities
Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including the related activities and eventual authorities
- During the project quotation or design phase, pilot for the costing estimation of module/pack battery line, make Indus machine concept/scenario of line (include line CT, plant capacitary, cost, key technical risk estimation etc…).
- To work on machine concept and design, standard creation .
- To benchmark machine concept from Chinese battery pack line players ( cell makers, New Energy OEM) .
- Ensure the battery line under control at quality, cost, delivery timing … no risk , and find solutions for issues through working together with suppliers from machine kick off until FAT.
- Well management in battery line supplier to ensure battery successful development.
- According to the project scheduling, no delayed for customer mile stone. And ensure the line smoothly production during ramp up, no major safety, quality and process problem after SOP.
- Know well for oversea plant building for battery line.
- Formalize and integrate the know-how and the experience , Lessons learned and MDCS.
- With synthetically knowledge to define the procedure of the machine project management, sharing experience, training and continue improve our standard.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of new training module and standard.
- Ensure technology transfer to suppliers in a manner most appropriate to their needs
- Assess supplier performance in terms of technical execution and project management.
- Provide support to factories from technical side in the event of poor performance(OEE/PPM issues).
- Conduct training for factories on the use of new machines or innovative processes
- Other things assigned by line manager.

KEY MEASURES & FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

- Development hours with in budget;
- LTA/WLTA=0, safety accident, TSV within target, machine conformity audit no block point after SOP;
- All new machine INERGO simulation done and score no more than 4;
- Follow corporate standard and support new technical implement;
- New project GR/QPR review no red or block points from machine development;
- Catch three "0": zero accident, zero customer claim, zero delay.
Profile Requirements
Personal Background
- Bachelor major in Mechanical Design or Automatism & Electrical.
- Minimum 5 years' experience for mechanical design, and 3 years design experience of module/pack battery line.
Job Technical Skills
- Mastery of mechanical & machine design.
- Project management skill well.
- Mastery knowledge of for module/pack production process, and process critical control
- Knowledge of Ergonomics, lean manufacturing principles. Understanding of process capability
parameters.
- Rich over sea projects development experience. (developed module/pack line > 50)
Job Soft Skills
- Fluent English level(CET-4), French is preferred.
- Good communication skill with internal & external interface.
- Strong trouble shooting skill, positive thinking.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Know of CAD software (Solidworks (preferred) or INVENTOR, Autocad).
