What can you expect?
China Client Services (CCS) Leader is a critical role responsible for the strategic management and growth of Chinese outbound clients worldwide. Leveraging Marsh's global network and expertise, the role focuses on designing and executing a comprehensive strategy to serve Chinese investors and corporations engaged in overseas investments. The candidate will develop opportunities together with China CEs and DEs, collaborate CCS desks in key locations and coordinate cross-regional teams to deliver the CCS value proposition effectively. The value proposition entails the suite of service from Marsh and Mercer, including MMB, through cross-enterprise collaboration, harnessing the full capabilities of Marsh McLennan Companies in Risk, Strategy, and People to provide integrated solutions to clients.

We will count on you to:
- Support Global CCS Leader to pursue opportunities arising from Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) and growth of Chinese multinationals going globally.
- Develop and execute CCS strategic plans to enhance client relationships, mainly large SOEs and POEs.
- Initiate and cultivate relationships with Chinese prospects and existing clients, understanding their overseas investment needs.
- Assist with expansion of CCS Global network in key regions and countries.
- Coordinate with regional teams and global resources to deliver seamless client service and maximize CCS value.
- Drive the delivery of Mercer and Mercer Marsh Benefits products and services by fostering cross-enterprise collaboration across Marsh McLennan Companies, ensuring clients benefit from integrated solutions in Risk, Strategy and People.
- Prepare and deliver strategic presentations on risk management and people related solutions, tailored to Chinese outbound clients.
- Track and report CCS revenue growth, new wins, client retention and MMC cross-sell in both home and host countries.
- Strengthen links with other Marsh operating companies and external partners to promote CCS branding and service delivery.
- Stay informed on geopolitical, regulatory and economic developments affecting Chinese outbound investments and incorporate insights into strategic planning.
What you need to have:
- Over 15 years of experience in client management, risk advisory, or related fields, with significant exposure to Chinese outbound investments and international markets. Experience within the insurance and/ or broking environment is preferred.
- Proven success in developing and managing large, complex client relationships globally.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in building and leading cross-cultural, international teams.
- Strategic thinker with a global mindset and deep understanding of Chinese outbound investment trends.
- Demonstrated ability to foster cross-enterprise collaboration to deliver integrated solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong communication skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin.
