Position Overview
:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tech Project Manager to join us on our digital transformation journey. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of key technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, thereby supporting Sephora business growth and digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Lead and manage technology projects from concept to launch, covering digital products, platforms, and system integrations.
- Collaborate closely with business units, technology teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, and continuously monitor project progress and performance.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Apply agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to drive iterative development and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and satisfy user needs and business objectives.
- Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and decisions, providing clear and timely reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster team collaboration and knowledge sharing, creating a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ Years of Digital Delivery Experience: Possess over 5 years of successful digital product or service delivery experience in retail, e-commerce, or related industries, with familiarity in the digital ecosystem and technological trends.
- Large-Scale Project Delivery Experience: Proven experience in independently leading and successfully delivering complex, multi-departmental large-scale technology projects, capable of handling high-complexity and high-risk project challenges.
- Agile Iteration Management Experience: Deep understanding and proficient application of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master or Product Owner experience), capable of guiding teams through agile iterations, sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and driving continuous delivery and value creation.
- Project management professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PSM) are preferred.
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication with stakeholders at various levels.
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to make sound judgments under pressure.
- Familiarity with mainstream project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Strong interest in and understanding the retail and beauty industries.
- Fluent English (spoken and written): Ability to communicate seamlessly with global teams and partners as a working language, and to write professional documents and reports.
