- Regulatory Compliance: The lawyer should be well-versed in Chinese regulatory requirements and ensure that all business operations comply with local laws.
- Operations Support: The candidate should provide regulatory and operations support for the plant in Yinglon, ensuring compliance with local regulations and facilitating smooth operations.
- Commercial Sales Agreements: The candidate should support commercial sales agreements and provide strategic advice to the commercial team.
- Sourcing and Procurement Support: The candidate should partner with the sourcing and procurement team for critical, high-value sourcing requirements, such as raw materials. Basic Information of the Candidate:
- Years of Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial law and regulatory compliance.
- Area of Law and Practice: The candidate should have expertise in commercial law, contract law, regulatory compliance, operations support, and commercial sales agreements.
- Expected Role and Responsibilities: The candidate should be a commercial contract generalist that can act as the primary point of contact and seek SME support as needed (whether within Koch legal or otherwise) The candidate will cover INVISTA primarily in China as well as the wider INVISTA APAC business. The candidate will be based in the Shanghai office but should be willing to travel within China and Koch Inc. head office in the USA.
- Domestic and Overseas Law Degree Requirement: The candidate should hold a law degree from a recognized university. A degree from both domestic (China) and overseas institutions would be advantageous.
