Our client is a leading provider in China's
pain management
market. For over 30 years, it has introduced
innovative opioid analgesics and novel generic pharmaceutical products,
helping to improve access to modern pain relief for patients across China.

Role Overview

Weihai Lotus Company's new product, SRM-Rhotard (morphine sulfate sustained-release tablets), has recently been approved for sale in China. The company is committed to provide better treatment options for patients and is preparing for expansion of production in China. We are eager to look for high caliber talent to join us for greater success.

Qualification/Requirements

  • Educational
    Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Work Experience
    : At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including more than 5 years in senior management roles such as plant manager or production director in a pharmaceutical factory.
  • Professional Knowledge
    : Proficient in China's cGMP and NMPA regulations, with a strong familiarity with international drug regulations such as FDA and EU-GMP being crucial. Extensive experience in operational management practices such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Excellent
    budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control skills.
  • Leadership Skills
    : Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Language Skills
    : Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English (essential for communication with global management).\
  • Personal Traits
    : Results-oriented, possessing strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stress resistance abilities. High standards for quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Overall Factory Operation Management

  • Strategy and Objectives
    : Develop and implement the factory's annual operational plan, budget, and strategic objectives to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy of the company.
  • Production Management:
    Fully responsible for the operation of the production department, optimizing production plans, ensuring timely, quality, and quantity completion of production tasks, and improving production efficiency.
  • Cost Control:
    Strictly control production costs, including manpower, materials, and energy consumption, achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
  • Supply Chain and Logistics
    : Manage the internal flow of materials in the factory, inventory control (such as raw materials, packaging materials, finished products), and warehouse management, collaborating with the supply chain department to ensure the stability of material supply.
  • Team Building
    : Lead, motivate, and develop the factory team (including indirect management of production, engineering, quality, EHS, etc.), fostering a positive culture that pursues excellence.

GMP and Quality System Management

  • Quality Compliance
    : As the key quality leader in the factory, ensure that all activities strictly comply with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice), the Drug Administration Law of China, NMPA regulations, and the group's global quality policies.
  • System Maintenance
    : Lead and maintain the factory's quality management system to ensure its ongoing and effective operation.
  • Quality Culture
    : Ensure that all employees receive comprehensive GMP training and understand the importance of their responsibilities for product quality.
  • Batch Release Participation
    : Provide support throughout the entire production process, ensuring that all batches conform to registration standards and quality requirements.
  • EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety)
    : Establish and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all operations comply with the EHS standards of China and the group globally, achieving the goal of zero accidents.
